R34 GTR Service VSpec - All Fuilds

After much research on the GTR I finally started its service. I spent a lot of time gathering information on oils, I ended up picking these /my-oil-order-for-bnr34-victory-spec-r34.html

If you really feel like a read, I compiled a lot of information into these posts:

Serviced @ 85,8XX KM - 01/01/2013

Changed:

Center Transfer Case - Nissan Automatic Fluid D (Pervious was browny/red color) ~2lt
  *Quantity good
 Front Differential Fluid - Gear 300 75W90 ~ 1lt
  *Quantity good

Manual transmission fluid - Fuchs ATF 4400 (Pervious was a red fluid,  V160 or another ATF? ) ~2lt
*Supra people seem to say 1.8lt is the change quantity, but GTR people say 4.1lt. I doubt 2lt could have been hiding in there. The only thing I can think of is that the drain point is in the forward part of the case, leading to some trapped fluid. Will see how it drives. I didn't do any flush due to the fluid still looking clean.

Spark Plugs - Gapped @ 1.05mm (Pervious under gapped)
Oil Filter - K&N HP-2008 (Pervious WZ4442, Next time I want to use the Nismo oil filter)
Oil - Fuchs 10W30 (dumped oil quantity was about right)
Brake Fuild - RBF600 (used an air bleed to pull through the fluid. Then a one way check valve bleeder. Went through about 1.5lt of fluid)

Rear - A-LSD (yellowish, it looked quiet thick. Wondering if it was an 80W-90) ~ 1.5lt

Active LSD requires an LSD oil :) I went with Motul

Radiator Flush - Premix Nulon Green (got it to operating temp, dropped ~4lt, refilled with distilled water, got it to operating temp, dropped it again, added the new radiator fluid, got it operating temp, dropped 2lt and re topped up). Also removed the over flow tank, it had red sediment. Managed to clean most of it.

NOTE: transfer case, front and rear diff require thread sealant on the filler drain bolts (completed with Permatex liquid thread tape).

To Be Changed:
 *

Recommendations:
because it is rarely driven, good idea to run through a fuel cleaner e.g. Nulon or Neo Racing etc

Next Minor Service (5000km or 6months):
 oil & oil filter
Air filter (it currently has a Ryco unit install, which I have cleaned. I think it should get a good HKS or Blitz panel filter)

 Fuel Filter
Brake Pads (Fronts have 50% meat and Rears have 30% meat. I also recommend new rotors)

Next Major Service:
 All belts
 Altessa bleed
Rear main - if its not dropping puddles of oil, she will be fine

Diagnosis:
 - a few wet patches were noticed under the car. It could be from the last service or we have a leaky rear main. Could use a 10W40?
 - front diff case was a bit wet, possibly leaky axle seals? But it still held 1lt of fluid.
 - rear brakes are getting low. good for another few 1000km
 - front & rear diffuser in good nick, all mounting screws intact
 - CV joints and suspension looks fine. No leaks and no broken bushes

Wheel Alignment:
Recommend street settings for AWD is neutral toe front and rear.
But according to my notes the weekend race can add slight toe out on the fronts and toe in on the rear.
/wheel-alignment-notes-tbc.html

Managed to almost zero the toe. The rear was slightly out. The steering pull comes from the caster.

Apparently Japan roads have a different camber to Australia roads. This causes the car to pull a little.
The R32/R33 is easily adjustable with pillowball tension rods/caster rods (e.g. Midori, Nagisa and Tein). But the R34 GTR is different. Apparently you have to swap out the lower control arms for an adjustable one.

A nice GTR I came across http://www.stancenation.com/
